Agent commerce

Get paid when an agent locks a rate or calls a paid API.

Members will send agents to shop for rates. The gateway lets your credit union keep discovery open and put a price on the work that follows: a binding lock today, and the information and decisioning APIs you add next.

Paid for the work

Discovery can stay open. The binding lock, and any later decisioning API, can carry a price so agent traffic does not consume lending operations for free.

Your price, not a platform default

Change the dollar amount in the portal. The credit burn follows. You do not open a new Nevermined plan for every price change.

Ready for the next API

Quote, lock, and pre-qualification already sit on one catalog. A new information or decisioning endpoint joins that catalog instead of a second payment system.

How a charge works

  1. 01 · You set the price

Choose which calls are paid. A rate lock at $0.25 burns 25 credits, because one credit is one cent. A later API is another row with its own price.

  2. 02 · The agent pays on the call

The agent sends a payment-signature. The gateway verifies it, performs the lock or the API call, then settles. There is no checkout page and no card data on your side.

  3. 03 · You keep a receipt

Each settled call is recorded with the feature, the price, and the lock id. The same payment token returns the original result and is not charged again.

Calls you can price

Each row is a feature. Turn the charge on, set the price, and the next agent call for that feature settles at the new amount.

  • Rate quote

An agent asks for a signed rate your lending policy can stand behind.

    /api/v1/rates/quote

  • Rate lock

An agent binds that rate for the member. This is the first call most unions charge for.

    /api/v1/rates/lock

  • Pre-qualification

An agent requests an underwriting decision before an application is complete.

Signal collects these agent charges until your credit union connects payout. The Stripe subscription on this portal is a separate bill for the gateway itself.
